Living a healthy lifestyle by eating the right foods to maximise energy for training is an important part of becoming elite athletes and the Hawthorn youngsters took their education to the next level recently.

The draftees - Billy Hartung, James Sicily, Ben Ross, Zac Webster, Kurt Heatherley, Shem Tatupu and Dallas Willsmore headed to Tassal - The Salmon Shop in Kew to learn how to cook up a deleicious piece of salmon in different recipes.

Salmon is one of the best pieces of protein you can have, particularly if you're an elite athlete.
