Hawthorn play Port Adelaide this weekend for the fourth annual Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation Trophy.

The Trophy, along with rainbow shoelaces worn by players from both teams, aims to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation.
Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation was established in memory of Zaidee Turner who died suddenly in 2004. Incredibly, Zaidee was the only child under the age of 16 to donate her organs and tissues in Victoria during that year.

Zaidee's gifts helped save or improve the lives of seven people.

The Foundation encourages everyone to discuss organ and tissue donation with their family.

After every storm, the sun shines and there is a rainbow. For those people on the transplant waiting list, the rainbow symbol offers hope.
