Pre-season training was taken to the next level on Wednesday as the fitness staff transformed the warm-up area of the gym into a circuit that would push the players to their limits.

With a number of different activities set up, the players paired up to attack each for short, sharp stints before moving onto the next set.

The players completed each station twice.

Defender Ben Stratton said it was a tough way to end the day but was ultimately another good test to get the group ready for season 2014.

Paired with Ryan Schoenmakers, Stratton said they like to push each other to the limit.

"We just try and beat each other up and push each other so by the end of it we're just stuffed," he said.

"The boys were pretty cooked at the end. It was a tough way to end the day but it's more just that unity stuff as well because we all cheer each other on."
