Cyril Rioli's brilliant mark from the third quarter of Friday night's victory over Fremantle has been nominated for Mark of the Year.

The Hawks dynamo emerged from nowhere to launch himself over the top of Docker defender Lee Spurr and in front of Jonathon Ceglar and Luke McPharlin to take a brilliant pack mark.

He then landed on his feet and played on immediately to snap a great goal that brought the Hawks fans to their feet.
