CYRIL Rioli has climbed back into the top 10 in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Gatorade, after his brilliant performance in Hawthorn's big win over Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.
Rioli's 17 disposals (at 100 per cent efficiency), four goals and three score-assists equated to 28.8 player ratings points, which was the highest score of the round and the third-best score of his career.
The star Hawk's effort moved him from No. 11 to No. 9 on the ratings table.
St Kilda's Leigh Montagna has also risen up the list after tallying 37 disposals, two goals and eight clearances in the Saints' narrow loss to the Brisbane Lions in New Zealand.
Montagna's performance earned him 27.5 points, the second-best score of the round, which helped him jump into the top-20 for the first time in his career.
Gold Coast skipper Gary Ablett remains the No. 1 player in the competition.
Ablett is also the leading scorer in 2014. He has scored 136 points, while Collingwood's Scott Pendlebury (128.6), Geelong's Joel Selwood (110.3) and Essendon's Jobe Watson (106.7) have been the other star performers this year.
