Hawthorn's new podcast 'Hawks in Review' takes an in-depth look at Hawthorn's recent performance. Host Andrew Clarke will be joined by a different assistant coach each week to analyse the result and provide insight into Hawthorn's strategy and game plan. For Round 3, Stoppages Coach Scott Burns is in the hot seat to explain how the Hawks turned things around to pull off an impressive victory over the Tigers.
"We didn't get it right last week and we were disappointed," Burns says of Hawthorn's performance against the Cats in Round 2.
"We had a couple of days off then we hit Monday pretty aggressively. You could even see by Monday and Tuesday that the boys were primed and ready to play. They wanted the physicality at training and they took that into the game.
"There was a mental sharpness but also a physical sharpness. The boys were on their toes."
Join Burns and Clarke as they discuss how the Hawks won the key match ups and stopped the famous Richmond run.
