HAWTHORN has made three changes for Friday night’s blockbuster against Sydney at ANZ Stadium.

Vice-Captain Jordan Lewis returns after being a late withdrawal with a corked hip last weekend, while Paul Puopolo has also been included after missing last week with calf soreness. Taylor Duryea has earned himself a recall after being omitted for the win over the Kangaroos.

The Hawks have been dealt a blow though, with three forced changes in the form of Cyril Rioli (ankle), Liam Shiels (ankle) and Brent Guerra (back soreness) all out injured and didn’t travel with the team to Sydney on Thursday.

Rioli and Shiels both injured their ankles against North Melbourne last weekend, but are expected to miss just one week.

Jed Anderson has retained his spot after winning 16 possessions and impressing in last week's victory. Another impressive performance against a top four side could see him take part in Hawthorn's finals campaign.

A win for Hawthorn on Friday night will secure it the minor premiership for the second year running.

Jarryd Roughead is also vying for the Coleman Medal, currently in the lead by three goals over Collingwood’s Travis Cloke.
