After the players had their final training session at Stellenbosch on Monday, it was straight off to Cape Town, where the group will be based for the final days of the camp.

The coaches gave the players the afternoon off to play the role of tourists, heading to Robben Island, the place in which Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years.

In order to get there, the Hawks travelled on a boat for over an hour across the open and rough water, with some of the players getting sea sick before their arrival.

The tour included a trip up to Nelson Mandela's prison cell, which was an emotional but at the same time fascinating experience for the group who learnt much about him in the lead-up to the trip.
