With the senior team enjoying the week off to rest the body and prepare for an AFL Preliminary Final in two weeks time, the Club’s VFL affiliate Box Hill will play off for a spot in the 2013 VFL Grand Final on Sunday.
Having qualified in second position for the finals, Box Hill, like Hawthorn won their Qualifying Final match to advance to a Preliminary Final and have enjoyed the week off last week to prepare.
The Club encourages all Hawks fans to get down to North Port Oval in Port Melbourne on Sunday to support Box Hill and get a glimpse into the future with the youngsters taking to the field in a high pressure final.
Box Hill will take on Werribee for a place in the Grand Final at 2.10pm.
On Saturday, the Box Hill Development team will play off in the Grand Final against Williamstown, also at North Port Oval at 10.45am.
