HAWTHORN midfielder Brad Sewell will miss Hawthorn’s Round 3 match against Collingwood with a low-grade hamstring strain.
Scans have shown the Hawks midfielder has sustained minor bleeding to his hamstring in the Club’s Round 2 match against West Coast Eagles.
Acting GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said Sewell will miss 1-2 weeks.
“Brad had some awareness during Sunday’s game and subsequently underwent scans that have shown he has a bit of bleeding in the hamstring,” Fagan said.
“Brad was able to jog lightly today, and depending on how quickly the injury site settles we expect him to resume playing within the next 1-2 weeks.
