HAWTHORN star forward Jarryd Roughead is free to play in Saturday's Grand Final against Fremantle after accepting a reprimand from the Match Review Panel.

Roughead would have been risking a one-match ban had he opted to challenge, risking his place in the Grand Final.

The 2013 Coleman medallist was given a reprimand by the MRP on Monday for a block on Geelong's Cam Gurthrie that caught him high.

The incident occurred off the ball, given he was blocking for teammate Cyril Rioli.

The Hawks star will have 93.75 carry-over points towards any future incidents.

Grant Birchall is also free to play, cleared for his bump on Matthew Stokes.
