The Hawks are on top of the AFL ladder but that doesn't mean the players stop training, they are working as hard as ever on the track to prepare for the Round 9 clash against the Suns at the MCG on Sunday.

The session began with goal kicking practice before the players were split into four groups and two teams within those groups.

Working in a confined space, the players used their feet to find a teammate and continuously keep the ball moving while the opposing team provided the pressure.

To close the session, the players participated in circle work where it concentrated on the transition from defence to attack.
