As a result of the Round 18 match-worn guernsey auction, the Club and the playing list together with the generosity of our loyal members and supporters raised $22,293 for the Casey Tutungi Appeal.
The 22 players who represented Hawthorn in the Round 18 win over Essendon generously donated their playing guernseys, and signed them post-match to raise funds for Tutungi, who is now a quadriplegic as a result of a football injury.
Hawthorn midfielder Jonathan Simpkin and rookie-listed player Andrew Boseley, both former teammates of Tutungi personally presented him with the cheque last week.
All funds generated by the sale of the guernseys was donated to the Casey Tutungi Appeal, to the sum of $22,293.
The auction ended on 1 August and was promoted via hawthornfc.com.au and the Club's official Facebook and Twitter accounts.
