HAWTHORN midfielder Brad Sewell has been slapped with a fine for making reckless contact with an umpire during Saturday’s win over North Melbourne.
Sewell made contact with umpire Chris Kamolins in the first quarter of the match.
He has been hit with a $2600 sanction that can be reduced by 25 per cent to $1950 with an early plea.
It is the first time Sewell has been fined for such an incident.
