HAWTHORN midfielder Liam Shiels will return from an ankle injury on Saturday with Box Hill in their game against Essendon at Box Hill City Oval.
Shiels hasn’t played since Round 14, when he injured his hamstring against the Lions at Aurora Stadium.
The midfielder trained strongly this week, but the Club has opted to bring him back through the VFL, rather than straight into the Hawthorn side.
He will join Hawthorn teammates Kyle Cheney, Jed Anderson, Michael Osborne, Tim O’Brien, Angus Litherland, Jonathon Ceglar, Mitch Hallahan, Luke Lowden, Will Langford, Derick Wanganeen, Jordan Kelly and Andrew Boseley in playing for Box Hill.
The game will be broadcast LIVE on ABC.
