BOTH Hawthorn and Sydney have been dealt blows before tonight's clash at ANZ Stadium with key players late withdrawals.

The Hawks have lost Max Bailey with general soreness, he has been replaced by Matt Spangher in the selected side.

The Swans though have been dealt a huge blow, with key forward Kurt Tippett out with hamstring tightness.

Tippett has kicked more goals than any other player since Round 14 this season, with 33 since returning from his AFL imposed suspension.

He has been replaced by Mitch Morton.

Jed Anderson and Morton are the substitutes for tonight's match.
