HAWTHORN star Lance Franklin will miss Saturday's clash against Port Adelaide with knee soreness.

Franklin was named on Thursday night but didn't travel with the team on Friday to Adelaide.

The Club didn't make a call on his fitness until Saturday.

He will be replaced in the selected side by Kyle Cheney.
