To celebrate this weekend's Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation trophy match between Hawthorn and Port Adelaide, Josh Gibson invited Mohamed, a multi-organ transplant survivor to the Ricoh Centre on Tuesday.

Gibson first met Mohamed at the Royal Children’s Hospital in 2011, when ‘Mo’ was very ill and on the waiting list for a transplant. He’s since had 4 organs transplanted in a complex, multi-organ operation which offered him a second chance at life.

Mohamed is now a healthy, living and breathing example of why it’s important to be an organ donor.

His visit aims to help promote the Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation trophy and to encourage people to talk about organ and tissue donation.
