HAWTHORN Captain Luke Hodge could make his first senior appearance for 2013 after being named in a 25-man squad for the clash against the Eagles on Sunday.

Hodge had his first competitive hit out of the year for Box Hill last weekend, and after recovering well could bolster the Hawks.

He gathered 17 disposals and took six marks to help Box Hill to a win over Casey in the VFL, a performance the Club described as “solid”.

The Hawks Captain headlines three possible inclusions to a side that was defeated by Geelong on Easter Monday.

Recruits Jonathan Simpkin and Matt Spangher could make their debuts for Hawthorn if selected in the final 22 to travel to Perth on Friday.

Last week’s debutant Jed Anderson has been named on the extended interchange after an impressive showing in his first game.

Despite being the substitute, Anderson had an impact when he came on mid-way through the final term.

After suffering cramp in the third quarter of Monday’s game, Bradley Hill looks set to play after being named on the wing for the game.

Former Bulldog Brian Lake was not named in the squad and will have to at least wait another week before making his debut for the Club.
