Thursday 20 September - 2 days to go


It was back to the training track for Hawks players today after enjoying a day off on Wednesday. Instead of taking the field at the Ricoh Centre though, the Hawks travelled to the MCG to get a feel for the conditions ahead of the preliminary final on Saturday.

Voices were high and the skills sharp as Hawks players and coaches enjoyed the sunshine that bathed the MCG on Thursday.

The players took part in kicking drills, full ground simulated match play and closed the session with goal kicking practice to ensure no opportunities are wasted when it counts on Saturday evening.

Back at the Ricoh Centre, the Digital Media team were preparing for tomorrow’s open training session where they will be producing a LIVE stream hosted by Hawks-Cast hosts Lehmo and Dec as well as a LIVE chat from the session.
