In a major win for the Club, the Hawks Museum is pleased to announce that a new Legends Cabinet has been installed at the entrance to the museum.

The new display honours the Club’s five official Hall of Fame Legends - John Kennedy Senior, Leigh Matthews, Graham Arthur, Michael Tuck and Peter Hudson.

This impressive display features a significant guersney worn by each of the five Legends, including Peter Hudson’s guernsey worn from when he returned to the Club for one year in 1977 and wore the number one jumper.

Hudson’s guernsey has been kindly donated by Mary Anne Colquhoun, a long time ‘Friend of the Hawks Museum’.

Also on display are trophies, medallions and boots worn by all five Legends, read more about the Legends’ achievements.

The Museum’s foyer now displays a particular sentimental value as the new cabinet joins the magnificent portraits of the five Legends painted by top artists Jamie Cooper and Dave Thomas.

The larger-than-life portraits are unique within the AFL, and should be seen by all die-hard Hawks fans.

Also residing in the foyer is the Club’s Honour Board listing life members, captains, coaches, officials and Club champions, along with a marvelous shot of the current Hawks Captain, Luke Hodge.

The Hawks Museum would like to thank the Past Players and Officials Committee and the Glenferrie Gold - the Life Patrons of the Hawks Museum along with the late Robert Finn for their outstanding contribution that has made the purchase of this cabinet possible.
