What Clarko says

44. Andrew Boseley

Thanks once again to all Hawks fans who continue to login to our site to follow our players through my summer series - one by one in a countdown to our first week of footy.

Today I'm featuring a young player we recruited from the Geelong Falcons in the AFL Rookie Draft just a couple of weeks ago, his name is Andrew Boseley.

The now 19 year old played footy for the Geelong Falcons under 18 competition mostly as a defender,  performing quiet admirably in that competition.

Andrew tips the scales at a slight 75-80 kilos which for a key defender isn't big so he needs to add some bulk to his frame. We've got him lined up for a strong weights program with conditioning's Luke Boyd over the next couple of seasons.

With some muscle on his frame, we're certain he's going to be a player to be reckoned with in the years to come. We look forward to him being able to play some good football for the Box Hill Hawks in 2012.

We really liked his speed and athleticism as a young Falcon, we feel if this can be complimented with a stronger body then he certainly has a future with the Hawthorn footy Club.

Tomorrow, I'll feature another player we picked up in the recent Rookie Draft, his name is Amos Frank, he's an aboriginal player from the APY lands in South Australia. You couldn't get a more remote part of Australia for us to be recruiting from, so all credit to our recruiting team.

Until tomorrow, all the best.
