HAWKS midfielder Jordan Lewis can accept a two-match sanction for rough conduct in Saturday's 115-point win over North Melbourne.

The incident that occured in the final term of Saturday's match was assessed by the Match Review Panel as a level two engaging in rough conduct offence.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points) - a total of five activation points and a classification as a level two offence, and a two-match ban.

Due to his previous poor record, the charge was increased by 20 per cent to 270 points and a two-match sanction.

He also has 50 carry over points accrued in the last 12 months, increasing the total points to 370 and a three-match ban.

If Lewis chooses to accept the charge via an early plea, it will reduce the penatly by 25 per cent - to 240 points and a two-match ban.

The Club will decide to contest or accept the charge on Tuesday.
