30,000 unite
Hawthorn Football Club today passed the 30,000 membership mark, which comes almost two weeks inside the Christmas target set by the Club.
Thank you to all our 30,153 members who have joined to date. This sends an enormous message of support to our 2010 playing group who are working hard through preseason training. This level of support gives the playing group greater enthusiasm knowing they have the early backing from our members to achieve success in 2010.
Although the Club has achieved 30,000 members before Christmas, the challenge doesn’t stop here.
In 2009 the Hawks were number one in membership in the AFL. Our next challenge is to achieve 50,000 by Round 1 which will assist in achieving our ultimate goal to remain number one come June 30, 2010.
President Jeff Kennett has delivered a message to all current members that in order to achieve our ultimate goal they must find one supporter to join as a member. Join this challenge today and see how you can be rewarded.
In 2010 we are United - One for All • All for One
