Shaun Burgoyne has told Port Adelaide that he wants to be traded to the Hawks
AT 8pm on Wednesday Shaun Burgoyne's manager, Ben Williams, notified the Hawthorn Football Club that Shaun had informed the Port Adelaide Football Club that Hawthorn was his preferred club to be traded to.
Hawthorn and Port Adelaide will now commence discussions with a view to complete a trade in the forthcoming AFL trade period.
