The Tapalinga Superstars have become the top team in the Tiwi Islands Football league after claiming the win to the Grand Final on Sunday 22 March.
The superstars – all decked out in Hawthorn Jumpers overcome Imalu, who were up by 12 points at half time to seize the win, kicking four goals to one.
No matter the outcome, the Tiwi Islands grand final is all about people, with thousands making the short flight from Darwin to soak up the true football spirit.
Hawthorn Football Club would like to congratulate the Tapalinga Superstars on their courageous Grand Final win.
