Since his return to the Hawthorn side in Round 3 against the Crows, Shiels has averaged 90 Dream Team points, with a return of 98 in his first outing. It was last week’s effort against the Saints, however, that should have caught your eye. In his fourth game back, Shiels is now getting back to his best, gaining match fitness and getting into the “groove” of playing at AFL level once more.
In Hawthorn’s 35-point win over the Saints on Saturday night, Shiels enjoyed arguably his best game of the season, managing 26 disposals, 11 marks and seven tackles to return a Dream Team score of 124. If his performance against the Saints is anything to go by, then now is the time to pounce on the midfielder given that despite his average and score of 124 last week, his price dropped $19,600, making his overall price drop, $57,200. His starting price was $508,400, and his price now sits at a manageable $451,200.

Cyril Rioli ($366,600) - Last week, we criticised Rioli for his low Dream Team scores despite providing Hawks fans with a number of highlights on-field. He certainly showed us against the Saints though, that he can combine a highlights reel with a massive Dream Team score.Rioli booted 6.1 on Saturday night in a best-on-ground performance, and netted his 22,381 coaches a score of 113.Jordan Lewis ($427,300) - The Hawks vice-captain seems to be going about his business quietly. He is owned by only 13,323 coaches and with his dual position status, available as a forward and a midfielder, he is a valuable addition to any Dream Team. He averages 90 points per game, and in the last three rounds averages 94 Dream Team points.
Brent Guerra ($409,700) - Another quiet achiever, Guerra has been notching high scores week in, week out for his 6,073 coaches and it is about time more coaches pounced on his excellent Dream Team form this season. He averages 90 points per round, but in the last three weeks, has improved his average to 97 points, after a season high 119 against the Saints at the MCG on Saturday night. With only 6,000 coaches owning the defender, he could be that unique choice you need to seal weekly victories.
