The Hawks have hit the ground running on a six day high-performance training camp in Queensland.

The players, including 2011 draftees, will be put through a gruelling regime of running, cycling, weights, boxing and extensive circuit work to maintain and improve fitness going into the 2012 season.

The group kicked-off their camp with an open training session for Queensland fans at the Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex on Thursday 15 December where fans where able to watch players rotate through several small-sided games which touched on match play, skills and body strength, before head Fitness Coach Andrew Russell took over for some fitness work.
