Hawks draftee Tim O'Brien has spoken on his first week at the Club, citing Jarryd Roughead as a great source of knowledge.

Speaking just over a week after he arrived at the Ricoh Centre, O'Brien says he's happy to learn from his peers.

"Jarryd Roughead has helped me out a fair bit, a lot of the senior guys are helping me out and showing me around."

O'Brien was full of praise for the Hawks.

"To get to Hawthorn is a great result...a great Club."
