Hawthorn Vice-captain Jordan Lewis was on deck to unveil the newly-named home of the brown and gold at Waverley Park.
Lewis helped cut the ribbon to officially launch the Ricoh Centre in front of Hawthorn President Andrew Newbold, Ricoh Australia Managing Director Les Richardson and close to 100 guests.
One feature of the new three-year deal is the renaming of the Club’s administration and training complex, which is now known as the Ricoh Centre
Following an address from Newbold and Richardson, guests were taken on a tour of the Ricoh Centre to see how Ricoh solutions help Hawthorn reduce waste, control document workflow and improve efficiency.
Richardson said the team at Ricoh Australia is excited by the extended partnership.
"We've had a great relationship with the Hawks over the past eight years and the new agreement, including the naming rights of the Club's head office, is a natural progression for us,” Richardson said.
“We look forward to many more successful years with Hawthorn.”
Newbold said the Club values its strong relationship with Ricoh Australia.
“The Ricoh Centre has become a centre of excellence, boasting the latest Ricoh products and technology that helps us perform at our best off-field as well as on-field,” Newbold said.
“We pride ourselves on partnering with innovative organisations and our relationship with Ricoh Australia further enhances this desire.”
The Hawks home base at Waverley Park has been renamed the Ricoh Centre after Ricoh extended its eight-year partnership with Hawthorn.
