Legends celebrated on canvas
When next visiting Waverley Park make sure to visit the Hawks Museum and view the Hawthorn Football Club Legend portraits hanging in the foyer.
The portraits are very impressive and are a wonderful tribute to our four Club Legends.
John Kennedy Snr and Leigh Matthews were the Club's first Legends inducted into the Hall of Fame and named Legends in 2003. Graham Arthur was elevated from the Hall of Fame to legendary status in 2005. The latest Legend and portrait is of Michael Tuck surrounded by his seven premiership cups, Tuck was elevated in 2008.
Also in the foyer are Life Member honour boards, the Club Leaders board and
the list of Peter Crimmins medalists dating back to 1925.
The rich history of the Club can be seen in the Hawks Museum, the Foyer and The Stairway of Memories, all must see for any Hawks supporter.
