After a big day of training on Tuesday, the players enjoyed a day off to relax ahead of more match preparations on Thursday.
After seeing lots of action yesterday, the gym at the Ricoh Centre is empty with the players having the day off.
While the players were enjoying the quiet of a windy Spring day, Hawthorn staff were hard at work preparing for various activities happening around the finals series.
The Digital Media team were out on the oval at the Ricoh Centre preparing for Thursday’s open training session where HawksTV will be streaming the session LIVE on hawthornfc.com.au.
Logistics and wet weather precautions were being taken as the team set up tables and chairs where Hawks-Cast hosts Lehmo and Dec will be sitting throughout the training session providing commentary.
There will also be a LIVE training chat on the website, where fans can interact with the Club to find out what the players are up to and who looks good.
In membership and fan development, staff were hard at work contacting winners of the Guard of Honour competition run on hawthornfc.com.au on Tuesday.
Preparations also went into preparing the jumpers the Guard of Honour kids will be wearing as the Hawks run out onto the MCG.
HawksNest, the Club's merchandise shop was busy, with fans coming in to purchase their brown and gold kits ahead of the big game.

Community staff were preparing to send Hawthorn "starter pack" to shops on Glenferrie Rd in Hawthorn. The brown and gold starter pack, features balloons, posters and streamers, as the Club ‘Hawthornises’ Glenferrie Rd for the duration of the finals series.
