For the past three years I have been the Ambassador for the My Room Foundation, a foundation that supports the Children's Cancer Centre at the Royal Children's Hospital.
My Room originated from the desire to improve the physical environment of the cancer ward, the chemotherapy unit and the out-patient areas of the centre - to create an environment that childhood cancer patients and their families could call "My Room". Their aim too, is to raise funds for research and the welfare and well-being of children with cancer and their families.
Having a young family of my own, and spending some time with the children affected by cancer has had a huge impact on me, and encouraged me to do whatever I can to help these wonderful kids and their families.
Please join me in helping raise awareness for My Room, as well as much needed funds so we can make a difference for these inspirational kids and their families.
The Entertainment™ Book is committed to donating 20% of each entertainment book sold via this link to go towards the My Room Foundation.
