Tuesday 18 September - 4 days to go

In a big day for the players, preparations for the preliminary final ramped up with a solid session out on the track. The players were put through their paces with full ground drills, focusing on transition from defense to offence as well as defensive set ups.

Focus too, was on ball handling in close and stoppage set ups, given the Adelaide midfield is ranked number one for clearances.

The players then headed into the Ricoh Centre to hit the gym, with several players working on building their strength for what is sure to by a physical match on Saturday.

Assistant Coach Adam Simpson was up for some media, as he ventured to the multimedia studio to discuss the match-up with the Crows with the media.

Simpson backed defenders Ryan Schoenmakers and Josh Gibson to nullify the Adelaide forwards.
