Notice is hereby given that the 105th Annual General Meeting of the Hawthorn
Football Club Limited (“Club”) will be held at the Hawthorn Town Hall, 360 Burwood
Road, Hawthorn on Thursday 13 December 2007. The meeting will commence at 7.00pm.
BUSINESS
1. To receive and consider the Annual Financial, Directors’ and Auditor’s reports
2. Special Resolution to be added to the Hawthorn Football Club Ltd constitution
due to Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation rules:
“Paragraph 4.2”
‘In the event of wind-up of the Hawthorn Football Club, the net assets of the organisation will not be distributed to members but will be distributed to:
- a fund with objectives similar to those of the club or association;(i.e. another football club or association) or
- a fund which has a philanthropic or benevolent purpose; or
- a community or charitable organisation
as decided on by the Board at the time of wind-up.’
3. Election of directors
The Club has received nominations from the following persons to fill the two vacant director positions:
Jason Dunstall
Geoffrey Harris
As a consequence of which there will be no election
4. Presentation of Life Memberships
5. Presentation of Club awards and trophies
At the conclusion of the meeting all members are invited to join the Board and staff for refreshments at the Glenferrie Hotel, 324 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn.
