Crawford set for 300
Shane Crawford is set to play his 300th game in the Round 19 clash against the Brisbane Lions at Aurora Stadium this Saturday.
Crawford who has been a week to week playing proposition over the last month with knee tendonitis pulled up really well following the Hawks 54 point win over Collingwood last Friday night.
Hawks General Manager of Football Operations Mark Evans was delighted to confirm the news that Crawford is available for his 300th in an important game for the Club against the Brisbane Lions.
“We were optimistic going into last week’s game that Shane’s knees were the best they have been for a month or two. He got through the game well and his tendonitis has settled well. We’re thrilled he is able to play his 300th,” said Evans.
“He showed again on Friday night the great contribution that he makes to the team structure and his run, ball use and experience is invaluable to the side.”
