HAWTHORN forward Jarryd Roughead can accept a reprimand for rough conduct on Collingwood's Chris Dawes.

The incident which occured during Friday night's Qualifying Final win over Collingwood at the MCG has been assessed as reckless, low impact and body contact.

That draws 125 demerit points under the Match Review Panel system, which can be downgraded to 70 points due to Roughead's good record over the last five seasons and an early plea.

If Roughead and the Club choose to accept the early plea, Roughead is free to play in Hawthorn's Preliminary Final next Saturday.

Heath Shaw and Brad Sewell can accept $900 sanction for wrestling each other. Josh Gibson has been cleared contact Andrew Krakouer.

Also from the match, Collingwood's Nick Maxwell has been offered three weeks for his hit on Paul Puopolo, down to two with an early plea, and Chris Tarrant one week for his hit on Lance Franklin, down to a reprimand with an early plea.

The Club has until tomorrow morning to decide whether to challenge or accept Roughead's penalty.
