Hawthorn in Business will make its awaited return in 2021, with the club preparing a series of networking events that combine football with business in a relaxed environment.

The first instalment, called State of Play, will take place on the eve of the 2021 AFL premiership season. Business people are invited to attend Zinc at Federation Square and learn from some of the most influential figures in the industry, while also forming connections with other like-minded individuals and companies.

AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan and Hawthorn President The Hon Jeff Kennett AC will both be part of the presenting panel.

They’ll discuss the challenges facing the AFL competition today, the rebuild of the industry amidst a global pandemic, as well as providing an in-depth look at the upcoming season.
