The good news keeps on coming for Hawthorn fans with no injuries to be reported out of the side's epic one-point win over the Bombers on the weekend.
Hawthorn forward Chad Wingard is edging closer to his return from a calf injury, while Jack Scrimshaw gained some valuable match practice in Box Hill's practice match.
Draftee Seamus Mitchell continues to make solid progress in his recovery from an ankle injury, with the club taking a cautious approach throughout the 18-year-old's rehabilitation process.
Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd
"Seamus is progressing well, slowly but well," Boyd said.
"We got Seamus into the program in last year's draft and he had had a significant injury at the time which needed to be immobilised and he was in the boot for quite some time.
"It's taken a little while to get him going, but now that we've got him going with his running we are now starting to build his run loads."
