It's a game that Hawthorn fans remember fondly.
Round 17 2001.
The day Ben Dixon heroically hauled the Hawks over the line against Carlton, with a last-minute grab and composed conversion.
What may not be as familiar to fans with association to this game is who was in the coaches box for the Hawks.
The statistic that leaves Jaeger unmatched across the league
Senior coach at the time, Peter Schwab had fallen ill the night before the game meaning his assistant Chris Connolly had to step up in his absence.
It would be the only game Connolly ever coached the brown and gold, leaving the club the following year to take up the Fremantle coaching position.
This week Connolly joins the podcast to discuss his time at both the Hawks and Dockers as well as various other stories from his long-standing association with the game.
