Jaeger O'Meara is in career-best form.
Indisputably.
His disposal average of 28.5 touches per game has never been higher.
In fact, he's dropped below 27 possessions in just one of his six outings so far this season.
But it's not just the sheer disposal tallies that are impressing - it's the way in which these numbers are being amassed.
Along with the career-high possessions mark, there are also PBs in clearances (7.7 per game), contested possessions (13.2), one percenters (1.7), rebound 50s (2.8) and marks (5.2).
Each of these tell a different story.
The 27-year-old ranks number one in the competition for centre clearances and second for clearances overall - this is where Hawks supporters want to be seeing the explosive midfielder winning the ball.
Similarly, his contested possession numbers reflect a willingness and desire.
Prior to the season, Jaeger was outspoken about the club's need to improve.
Will this week be the week we see the return of Jack Gunston?
"We're not a club that belongs at the bottom of the ladder," the vice captain said at the time.
A rise in these numbers is tangible proof of actions backing up his words.
Another notable element to those career-high statistics is what the marks represent - his enhanced ability to spread from the stoppage.
He is winning it on the inside, more effectively than almost anyone else in the competition, but then he is also 'getting out' and finding the ball on the outside.
He has taken six or more marks in each game of the last month.
To give you an idea of just how significant this is, in his previous 62 games in the brown and gold prior to this last month, he recorded six-plus grabs on just six occasions.
His body of work is being appreciated by those in the know too.
His 31-possession, one-goal performance against Adelaide on the weekend was deemed best on ground by both Alastair Clarkson and Crows Coach Matthew Nicks.
Those 10 votes catapulted him into the top 10 for coaches' votes for the year.
It's an exciting thing for the Hawthorn faithful to see Jaeger in full flight.
