Often tasked with nullifying the impact of some of the league’s most dangerous key forwards, the 31-year-old shone with his strength and competitiveness, whilst averaging 9.2 disposals and five intercept possessions in 2024. His leadership in the backline was also immense, which culminated in him being awarded the Best Clubman at the Peter Crimmins Medal.
