What’s on in Launceston Tasmania for Hawks fans

Welcome to Launceston

2025 marks 100 years since we joined the VFL/AFL and it’s also the year Launceston and the Tamar Valley community are quietly proud—and just a little chuffed—to be named the #4 Region in the world on Lonely Planet’s Best in Travel List.

Whether you are a local or visitor, Launceston – or Launnie for short, will be switching things up with special offers, some Hawks hot tips for things to do, and of course painting the town with brown and gold. Come for the game and join the community atmosphere where connections are genuine, the cellar never runs dry, and the table is set – all that’s missing is you.
