Hawthorn has added four names to its extended squad ahead of the side’s clash with Carlton at the MCG on Sunday.

Will Day, Jacob Koschitzke, Daniel Howe and Ned Long have all been included in the squad of 26, with Tom Phillips (medical substitute) the confirmed out from the team that defeated Port Adelaide last week.

If Day is selected for Sunday’s match, it will be his first game for Hawthorn since he injured his ankle in Round 15 last year.

Chad Wingard has also been included in the squad after being substituted out of the game last weekend due to hamstring tightness.

Hawthorn will announce its Round 3 team on Friday at 5pm.
