Hawthorn VFLW is set to welcome four big inclusions when it takes on Carlton this Sunday at Box Hill City Oval.

In exciting news, Abbey Holmes will make her long-awaited brown and gold return, re-joining the Hawks after a knee injury left her sidelined since the beginning of the 2021 season.

Holmes is one of four inclusions in Sunday’s Round 7 team, joined by the returning captain Tamara Luke, Kristen Hay and Sophie Bolding.

Meanwhile, Eliza Shannon (health and safety protocols), Emmie-Lee Zanker-Close (omitted), Katelyn Cox (concussion) and Kristy Stratton (concussion) are the confirmed outs.

The match-up marks the first meeting between these two sides in 2022, and the Hawks' first home game of the season.

Hawthorn will enter the game on a four game winning streak, having won every game of the season except their Round 2 clash against Geelong.

The Hawks will be hungry for another four points, but will face a motivated Calrton side, with the Blues coming off a thrilling three-point win against Collingwood last week.

The action will kick off at 12:35pm at Box Hill City Oval.
