AFL: Hawks unlucky in one-point thriller
Hawthorn has recorded its first loss of the season in a heartbreaking fashion after narrowly falling to Carlton by one point at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
The Hawks fought back from as much as 41 points down in the second term to regain the lead midway through the last quarter, but were unable to take it home over the undefeated Blues.

VFL: Carlton overcome Box Hill
After leading by one point at three quarter time, Box Hill struggled to maintain its momentum as Carlton ran out to a 46-point victory on Sunday.
Tom Phillips (27 disposals) and Jai Serong (seven inside 50s, one goal) were stand-out performers for the Hawks on the day.

VFLW: Hawks make it five on the trot
Hawthorn has surged to third on the ladder after recording a convincing 51-point over Carlton on Sunday.
Despite the wet and slippery conditions, the Hawks were able to take control of the match to lead at every break, as they left Carlton goalless for the match.
