Hawthorn has confirmed it has engaged Colliers to officially put Waverley Park on the market for sale.

With the Hawks preparing to relocate to their new home, the Kennedy Community Centre in the near future, the club has taken its next step in exploring what the future looks like for its existing home.

Waverley Park will officially be on the market from Tuesday 25 February.

All enquiries or expressions of interest can be made to the Colliers team by Thursday 3 April.

Waverley Park has played a major role in Hawthorn’s history and holds a special place in the hearts of many of the brown and gold faithful.

The club will act in the best interests of all parties to determine the facility’s future.

Hawthorn Chief Operating Officer Jacob Attwood said:

“Waverley Park has been a great home for our football club and has served the club very well.

“As the club prepares for our imminent relocation to our new facility at Dingley, it is the right time to explore what the future for the current training and administration facility looks like.”
