The Box Hill Hawks are off the mark in season 2022, after securing a 43-point win over Sandringham on Sunday at the MCG.
Liam Shiels (game-high 27 disposals) and Tom Phillips (26 touches) were among Box Hill’s best.

The VFLW Hawks have recorded their seventh win of the season, defeating the Southern Saints by 21-points at Box Hill City Oval on Saturday.
Having only lost one game of the season, the Hawks now comfortably sit third on the ladder as they prepare to enter a bye next weekend.

VWFL: Essendon outwork Hawks in season opener
Hawthorn opened its 2022 Victoria Wheelchair Football League season with two disappointing losses to Essendon on the weekend.
The Hawks development league team lost by 55 points, while the senior team went down by 84 points.
