Conor Nash has avoided serious injury after being subbed out of last week’s close loss against Melbourne.

The 23-year-old injured his quad in the final quarter, but scans have since cleared him of any concerning damage.

Meanwhile, despite having progressed well with his injury, Changkuoth Jiath will be unavailable to play this weekend as the club continues to take a conservative approach to his return.

Mitch Lewis will also be unavailable for Saturday’s clash against Essendon after facing an unexpected non-COVID related illness this week that will see him miss training preparation.

The 23-year-old was initially fit and preparing to return this week following his hamstring injury.
