Several young Hawks will be a test to play ahead of the side’s clash against Gold Coast on Saturday night.

Will Day has avoided an injury scare with his ankle and will now be in contention make the trip to TIO Stadium in Darwin on the weekend.

After being ruled out the day before his side’s match-up with Brisbane, Jack Scrimshaw will also be a test ahead of Saturday’s game.

Star forward Jack Gunston is also making strides off the back of his injury, as is ruckman Ned Reeves who will be assessed later this week.

Max Lynch will be unavailable after entering concussion protocols, as will Josh Ward as he continues to progress through his concussion protocols.
